International flights:

There are nonstop international flights into Trondheim from Amsterdam and Copenhagen . KLM operates the flight from Amsterdam to Trondheim . SAS operates the flight from Copenhagen to Trondheim . There are international flights from major European cities to Oslo with domestic flights on to Trondheim .

How to get from Trondheim Airport Værnes into the city:

Airport buses runs every 15 minutes. They are located outside the arrival terminal on the ground floor. Cost NOK 62 one way. Travel time 35 minutes. First stop Radisson SAS Royal Garden Hotel (this is where you get off if you are staying at Rica Nidelven Hotel). Ask the driver when to get off if you are staying at Quality Augustin Hotel. Taxi into the city cost NOK440 one way. There is a possibility of sharing taxi with a maximum of two other persons. Rate NOK 265 per person. Reservation has to be made in advance. Call for reservations at +47 93007373 and press 9 for English menu.

Train from Oslo to Trondheim

The train is running twice a day between Oslo and Trondheim . This is a nice way of doing the scenic route through half of Norway . It takes about 7 hours and costs NOK685 one way.

NTNU conference facilities

The plenary sessions will be held in auditorium R5 on level U1 at NTNU`s building called Realfagbygget (Science and Technology Building) at the Gløshaugen Campus.

Banquet

The banquet on June 10^th is held at Rica Nidelven. The cost for a 3-course dinner including mineral water, one beer or one glass of wine is NOK 350 .
